A very belated happy birthday Marloes! 🎂 I'm late to the party but I love this list and am going to try very hard to put No12 into practice as I find this time of year very difficult.

Thanks Lizzie! This time a year can indeed be difficult. I hope you can be kind to yourself!

Thank you so much for these beautiful words. First of all, happy birthday! I hope it was a good one.

Second of all, #34 gave me little tears of joy because I wanted to hear from someone else that slowing down is extremely crucial in life. I am still working on breaking the cycle of toxic productivity in my life and this was the perfect reminder for me on a challenging day like I had today. I think I will come back to this post several times in my life. It was that good.

Thank you, Mansi, that's really lovely to hear. I'm breaking away from toxic productivity too. Slowly, but I'm getting there. I find it odd now that productivity and accelerating in higher and higher gears are still being applauded so much. I wish we'd applaud rest more.

Happy birthday and long and happy and bountiful life to all us 1984 and around peeps. We deserve a hug: between climate, financial and social crisis, wars and more, we are doing well no matter what. I’ll treasure these 40 soft commandments that are a true wellness and self love hymn and I’m going to read them again when needed, thank you for sharing them with us!!!!

This is just brilliant! I am 20 years older than you and still learning some of these things - it should be a poster given to all creatives!
